Christmas Day 2009!!

Woke up to the most amazing, sunshine-y, hot day yipeee! Got up around ten and took our time opening the piles of presents we had been sent from home...thank you everyone you spoiled us silly! After the marathon present opening session David made a huge portion of French toast with maple syrup and banana to keep us going for the day..after breakie we hit the beach across the road at mission bay. We had an amazing, relaxing day chilling at the beach and swimming..it was perfect. We came in from the beach around 6.30, made our Christmas picnic of cooked chicken, roasted veges and salad and sat back over the road on the grass beside the beach. We stayed there most of the night and had drinks with my poor friend Emma who had to work earlier in the day. We of course missed our family and friends but still managed to have a fantastic day.
