After breakfast in the sunshine on Hamiltons' main street we took a walk along the riverside. There is a really nice walk by the Waikato river, up over the bridge and through some park gardens. It was such a perfect hot and sunny day and we relaxed in the park for a while, stealing a corner of the kiddy paddling pool to cool off ha ha!
We then headed to Hamilton Gardens which we had heard were amazing...the gardens are completely free to walk around and stretch for miles! We had a great day walking through the different themed gardens and enjoying the sunshine :)
