For our first full day in Sydney we decided to take the open top bus tour round the city to see all the famous sights. It was unbelievably hot so sitting on the top deck gave us a nice (although warm) breeze, the roasting hot leather seats were burning to sit on! We hopped on and off at different stops throughout the day...the town hall and St Andrews Cathedral, we lunched on the waterfront at Sydney harbour, caught the wildlife photographer of the year exhibition at the museum and took in the rest of the tour from the bus. We got off the bus for our last stop at a place called the 'Rocks' which is the oldest part of the city and where you can walk right underneath the impressive harbour bridge. After an ice cream and lots of photographs we got the bus back to the apartment where we chilled on the balcony and David served up another tasty meal.
